3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.

I have been researching a few more ways of earning money through Internet Marketing and I realized I hadn’t posted this week – oops!  After I gather enough information to start writing about my next topic – which will either be about  Affiliate Marketing or drop shipping through eBay – I will begin writing some posts that are hopefully interesting and helpful at the same time.

Google AdSense program has given an altogether new purpose to websites. Besides serving content or selling products and services, websites are now being used to generate revenue through serving Google AdSense Ads. The webmasters employ various strategies in order to extract the maximum out of Google AdSense program. There is no formal classification available for these strategies (nor can all the strategies be determined), however, the following 3 classifications are said to be more prevalent than the others:

1. Traffic Generation: Since the revenue generation from Google AdSense Ads is based on the CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis, the more traffic your have to your website the better are your chances of getting good revenue through AdSense. Most webmasters are fully aware of this fact and employ various tricks to generate high traffic to their website. All such tricks fall under the category of ‘Traffic Generation’.

2. Converting traffic to Clicks: Clicks seem to be the best way of increasing AdSense revenue. Prompting the website visitors to click on the AdSense Ads can make a big difference in terms of the AdSense revenue that you earn. A good copy can make the website visitors more confident about your website and hence encourage them to go ahead click the AdSense Ads. Besides the website copy, the website owners apply several other means for getting more clicks. These form the ‘Converting traffic to Clicks’ category.

3. Attracting High Value AdSense Ads: Besides the traffic to your website, your AdSense revenue is also based on the value of the AdSense Ads. So, some Ads produce more revenue when they are clicked/displayed than the others. This is determined using the Adwords system. Moreover, you have various reports and statistics available to you that you can use for enhancing the performance of your website on the Google AdSense program.

So, Google AdSense program has really made it easy to convert a website into revenue earning medium.

Visit other sites that are benefiting from Google Adsense. Click on the ads only if you are truly interested in the product or service being advertised.  Read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Only offer a comment though if it is truly sincere.

The basic arrangement in which the Google AdSense system works is such that Google has the basic control over the Ads that are displayed on the websites subscribed to the Google AdSense system.   Of course, the website owner can customize how an Ad looks and also block/filter certain types of Ads on their website.   The Ads that Google serves are ‘Senseful’ Ads (these Ads are actually relevant to the topics that the website discusses/caters-to).   This is something that is not found in other advertising programs or systems. So you’ve decided that you want to get started as a seller on eBay. There are a few things that you really need to know before you go and throw yourself in at the deep end.

What to Sell.

First off, you need to know what it is you’re going to sell: what’s your speciality? You’ll do far better on eBay if you become a great source for certain kind of products, as people who are interested in those products will come back to you again and again. Don’t worry if you think the thing you’re selling is too obscure – it isn’t. There’s a market for almost everything on eBay, even things that wouldn’t sell once in a year if you stocked them in a shop. You’ll probably do even better if you fill a niche than if you sell something common.

If you earn enough money, you should be aware that you’re going to have to start paying tax – this won’t be done for you. If you decide to sell on eBay on a full-time basis, you should probably register as a business.

Prepare Yourself.

There are going to be ups and downs when you sell on eBay. Don’t pack it in if something goes a little wrong in your first few sales: the sellers who are successful on eBay are the ones who enjoy it, and stick at it whatever happens.

Anyone can sell on eBay, if they believe in themselves – and if you do decide it’s not for you, then the start-up costs are so low that you won’t really have lost anything.

So…..I am wondering if this blog is ever visible when people search for blogs about Ebay.  I haven’t had any comments yet and I suppose I was expecting some.  Why – I’m not sure – I guess I thought maybe since my blog is a new blog that it would come up quickly in searches.  Or maybe I thought that my writing was so incredibly interesting that it would rank very high in search results – just kidding!  If this blog does pop up, please leave me a comment – it would thrill me beyond belief.

Since I am posting anyway, I am wondering which type of auction you think is more profitable or draws the most traffic – the open auction or a Buy It Now or fixed price auction?  The fixed price auction is safer, I think, as long as it is successful because then you get the price you need to make it profitable.  On the other hand, if you have an item that many people want, then you may get lucky with an open auction and have people get into a bidding war – which could be extrememly profitable.  At Christmastime, I saw an auction for a  Lego/Star Wars clock that was $19.95 at Target but was sold out everywhere.  There was a bidding war and the lucky owner walked away with $174.59 for a twenty dollar clock.  Not bad, eh?

Hello again…….I am going to write today to talk about what I already know about Ebay.  I started selling a couple of things on Ebay last summer and all of a sudden I was a Power Seller.  I had no idea what I was doing, but when you are selling something that people actually want, your ebay business kind of takes on a life of its own.  I was shocked at how easy it was to become a Power Seller, mainly because when I started out, I was just trying to get rid of some things and make a little money at the same time.  I started out selling Galvanic Spa’s that are also known as “wrinkle irons” that I had stored in my garage from a Network Marketing company that I had tried my hand at.  These spas flew out of my house with lightning speed – I was amazed!  Then I sold some Brighton Jewelry that I had never worn and then some new Longaberger baskets that I had never used and all of a sudden I gained Power Seller status.  Boy, that was thrill but when I found out what had to be done to maintain that title I was a little afraid.  I had decided to sell Children’s Clothing online when the economy bottomed out.  So, here I am, trying to find a new niche to get involved in now that I know a little about what I am doing on Ebay.  Has anyone else noticed much difference in their Ebay business?
