Protect Your Assets by Mandy Allen
Protect Your Assets
I have just spent a splendid couple of days with the wonderful horses at World of Whispers (hhtp://worldofwhispers.com). We have managed to secure short term accomodation for them on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. We are now seeking a project base to move into in the spring.
On my return home I discovered that while I was away my PayPal account has been hacked and someone has withdrawn £600.
Obviously I am devastated – even though I know I will get this money back eventually.
This post is really to tell you all to protect your assets – change your password and security questions on all your accounts from time to time as this helps to prevent this type of fraud. We should all make it as difficult as possible for these thieves and fraudsters to operate.
Feel free to visit my blog http://mandyallen.com – and do leave a comment so we know you have been!
Enjoy the journey.
Thank you for this post. This is something I just don’t think about. Guess we need to be aware, that this stuff happens and we best take precautions. Thanks again for the reminder.

Hi Sue/Mandy
I’m being addmitted to hospital again tomorrow, our blogs’ 1st birthday. I should (hopefully) only be gone for 2 weeks.
I just wanted to stop by today and wish your blog a very happy 1st birthday for tomorrow, and to wish you all the very best for the year ahead.
May you sail the sea of ambition and land on the shores of success.
Respect and Regards,
Barry
Hi Sue
This is a very important point that we all need to take on board when working online.
Dear Susan,
Thanks for the tip about Paypal. I was unaware that this was even a possibility. How naive of me!
I will make a note to go change my passwords.
Great advise!
Thanks,
Joelle
